LOVE ISN'T

love isn't taking
to love is to selflessly give.
love isn't proud;
in love we must all live.
love isn't stereotypically red;
it has it's black and blues.
love isn't selfish.
it knows what's best for you.

love isn't possessive;
you don't have to be mine.
love isn't impatient;
it finds its path in time.
love isn't lost
just slightly hard to find.
love isn't abusive;
only gentle,soft and kind.

love isn't pure bliss
there'll be buckets to cry.
love doesn't give up;
love is worth the try.
love isn't vocal;
it comes from deep inside.
love isn't bold;
it'll shy away and hide.

love isn't logic
it can be quite insane.
love isn't profit
to love is not to gain.
love isn't blind;
just use your eyes to see.
love isn't fickle.
it's what is meant to be.
